CnC has become a highly popular band within the music and entertainment industries in Sri Lanka. It was initially formed in xxxx and today it has grown to become an entity synonymous with quality entertainment. The band is lead by the unique combination of Mrs. Chandani Hettiarachchi & Mr. Chaminda Hemaratne. They are ably supported by the rest of the band members helping CnC create some of the best known hits in Sri Lanka.
CnC caters music to all kinds of audiences ranging from 70's music to present day music, in which they add colour with fine pop, country, semi rock, blues, reggae & retro music, from the most fabulous bands like ABBA, Boney M, Bee Gees, Doobie Brothers, Bob Marley, Eagles, Madonna, Sade, Bryan Adams, UB 40 etc….They have their own original hit songs & also cover popular Sri Lankan songs as well as famous bailas.

	Chandani Hettiarachchi - Lead Vocalist CnC main vocalist Chandani Hettiarachchi covers a wide range of music but mainly stars in western music. One of the country'smost talented singers, Chandani first appeared in the Sri Lankan Music scene in early 80's. She released her inaugaral collection of songs in the form of a cassette in 1985. While promoting Sri Lankan music in many European and middle eastern countries, Chandani was priviledged to gather exposure to the latests musical trends and state of the art productions facilities. Chandani is today recognized to be one of the most outstanding icons in Sri Lankan POP music. Her style is unique to her self while she is capable of adopting her voice to match any of the music styles and genere. Chandani also bares ability to entertain crowds by being able to perform in many languages including Sinhala, English, Hindi and Latin. After joining with prominent key boardist Chaminda Hemaratne to form CnC in the 90's Chandani has been instrumental in releasing many singles along with a multitude of albums including her latest CD Sandu Avilla - සඳු ඇවිල්ලා. 	Chaminda Hemaratne - Band Leader / Key Boardist / Backup Vocalist Chaminda Hemaratne was educated at the Richmond College in Galle. Soon after graduation Chaminda set his eyes upon a career in the music and enetertainment industry. After performing in Galle for 2 years for the band TENOR, Chaminda made a move to come to Colombo to reach a wider audience. The first band Chaminda joined while being in Colombo was called Super Pink & Purple. Then he moved onto join Ayesha & the Dream Team to perform as a keyboardist. Chaminda was blessed in meeting his beloved singing companion in life Chandani with whom he has presented creative presentations and made a name as CnC duo.

	Jacqualine Hettiarachchi - Vocalist Jacqualine Hettiarachchi, the daughter of Chandani Hettiarachchi also contributes a major role on vocals to the band C&C. Educated at St. Lawrence’s School, Jacqualine started her musical career at the age of 17. Although she helped the band on vocals on a timely basis during her school career, she now contributes her time fully while playing a major role in the band. Jacqualine has formed a unique style of singing which is quite different from most vocalists. She contributes her best talents on vocals to three songs in the new release, Sandu Avilla - සඳු ඇවිල්ලා.
